The Stolen Orange Bike
Mika Keränen

In Tartu, in the neighbourhood of Supilinn (the Soup Town), exciting things start to take place when an orange bike is stolen from a Belgian professor and a gang of kids start to look for it along the police. The maze-like Soup Town, its dusty back yards and cosy corner shops, friendly old ladies and suspicious businessmen, clever kids and anxious ambushes… According to the author, this heart-warming, amusing and exciting children’s whodunit suits best primary schoolers who already read on their own.

The production is based on the book with the same title. The next children’s book of the author Mika Keränen, titled The Hidden Silver Treasure Chest, received the Best Children’s Book Award of the Estonian Culture Endowment in 2009.
